The beautiful village of Pianello del Lario is on the western shores of Lake Como. There is a small pebble beach with a few lakeside restaurants. In the summer, you can swim in the lake, windsurf and sail. Every Easter there is a regatta to welcome the spring. The village has some shops and a bakery and you can find a larger supermarket nearby in Musso (2-minute drive)
