Setting out from Ushuaia and travelling with the support of helicopters, the voyage reaches remote and rarely seen corners of the far south. It is a journey designed for those drawn to wild, untouched places and extraordinary wildlife. During the visit to South Georgia, there may be the opportunity to explore sites tied to the life and legend of Sir Ernest Shackleton, including Stromness, Fortuna Bay and his grave at Grytviken. The expedition then presses on to the mighty Weddell Sea, where iconic wildlife such as the elegant emperor penguin and colossal tabular icebergs await.
