The Leggiuno holiday home is just a minute’s walk from Sasso Moro beach and a 10-minute walk from the tourist boat and resort facilities of Arolo. The house is also a 6-minute drive from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Santa Caterina del Sasso. Further afield, Angera Castle and the resort town of Laveno-Mombello are a 12-26 minute drive away. Regular ferry services from Laveno provide easy access to the western shore town of Intra, perfect for visiting Verbania (for fine dining and historic sites), Stresa (for boat trips to the Borromean Islands) and Pallanza (for the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto). Lake Varese, Lake Monate and Lake Lugano are also easily reached by car. The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa, a 46-minute drive away.
