The Budello (10 minutes walk) is a charming pedestrian street, full of interesting shops and cafés for you to explore. The town is known for its Art Nouveau architecture and villas. The gardens of the Villa della Pergola (16 minutes walk) are worth a visit, as is the Muretto di Alassio (2 minutes walk) which is tiled with the signatures of many famous visitors, including Ernest Hemingway and Jean Cocteau.
